29 Aug 2008 - 7.00pm - St. James' Brass Ensemble - The ensemble is playing at the Exchange, Sturminster Newton to celebrate the 1st anniversary of this wonderful new arts centre. Premier performance also of a fanfare written specially for the Exchange by Karen Wimhurst/Nick Crump.

9 Aug 2008 - all day - Prof H₂O - Hampshire water festival at Romsey, doing 2 shows as Prof h20 to promote water awareness.

18 Jul 2008 - weekend - Creative Workshop - Working with Activate Performing Arts (Poole based) on a pilot project called 'Unlocked' with young people on Brownsea Island making musical instruments. Exploring ideas for a big youth based performance on the island in 2010.
